The WP glossary plugin is a simple to use way to produce a glossary of terms on your WordPress powered website. Every time a user views a page or post on the site, any glossary terms or phrases are automatically converted to a link to that glossary definition.
You may have noticed some of the words above are italicised links – try them, they are glossary links.
WordPress is a glossary item, but this link to the WordPress website, stays that way, because the WP Glossary Plugin knows not to change it. Any images with URLs containing glossary terms or phrase are also ignored too.
There’s a shortcode to show the glossary [wp_glossary_list] and a Gutenberg block too.
Glossary items are a custom post type, so you can add and edit them in the normal way using the classic editor. The title is stored as a keyword/phrase for use across your website, when you publish or update the glossary post.
